Making A Purchase
Making a purchase online could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any item you wish to buy to put them into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Proceed to Checkout” and you will be asked for your Billing and Shipping addresses and how you want to pay.
We accept credit and debit card payment through Secure PayPal.
We’re happy too if you want to order online and collect from our Portobello Road shop in person. We’ll be happy to see you!

DELIVERY AND RETURNS
Shipping and Handling
Handling charges are charged separately for both U.K. and overseas consignments. The Blue Door is not responsible for duties and taxes levied in other countries, which are the responsibility of the customer. For security reasons items can only be shipped to the billing address.
UK (including Northern Ireland), Channel Islands and Republic of Ireland:
U.K. customers will normally receive their order next day Monday – Saturday.
Europe: 3-4 days
North America: 2-3 days
South America: 3-5 days
Middle East: 3-4 days
South Africa: 3-4 days
Australia/New Zealand: 4-5 days
Far East: 3-4 days
If in the unlikely event that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is charged. All product prices quoted are INCLUSIVE of VAT. All other orders are VAT free which is calculated automatically during the checkout process.
We hope that you will be happy with your purchase. If for any reason your products arrive damaged please contact The Blue Door immediately by telephone on the number above or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE PACKAGING as this may require inspection to establish the cause of the breakage. A replacement will be sent by return.
If you are unhappy in any other way please telephone or e-mail email@example.com in order that your complaint can be resolved. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
You can cancel your order at any time prior to despatch. But do, please, let us know quickly and before 15:00 London time.
Once your order is in transit to you we are unable to recall it and you will need to return to us using your own shipping provider.
If you want to return goods please e-mail us or write to us first!
If you cancel or wish to return goods to us it will be at your own expense.
You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods so you should take out adequate insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or misrepresented.
The Blue Door abides by the terms of the “Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000” which can be found www.hmso.gov.uk
